        Russians attacked Ukraine with 500 drones and 24 missiles at night

        On the night of September 3, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with dozens of cruise missiles and hundreds of drones. In total, the enemy launched 526 weapons.

        This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

        The defense forces shot down/suppressed 451 air targets:

        • 7 out of 8 Kh-101/Kh-55 cruise missiles.  
        • 14 out of 16 Kalibr cruise missiles.  
        • 430 out of 502 Shahed-Geran and Gerbera UAVs.  

        Three missiles and 69 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 14 locations, with debris falling at 14 locations.

        The attack continues, with several enemy UAVs still in the air.


        During the night, Russian troops shelled a number of regions in Ukraine. In the Kyiv region, debris from a downed aerial target caused a fire near multi-story residential buildings.

        In the Kirovohrad region, railway infrastructure was damaged and five people were injured. More than 20 passenger trains are delayed due to the attack.

        In the Kalush district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, a fire was reported in warehouses.

        Lutsk, Rivne, Lviv region, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy region, and Odesa region were also shelled.
