        Russian troops have once again attacked energy facilities in the Poltava region, with debris found in open areas and casualties reported, according to the head of the regional military administration, Volodymyr Kogut.

        ‘The enemy has once again carried out a massive combined attack on Poltava region. In the Kremenchuk district, direct hits and debris falling on energy infrastructure facilities and open areas have been recorded,’ he wrote in a telegram.

        As a result of the attack, one person suffered moderate injuries.

        According to him, most of the weapons were shot down by air defence forces and means.

        State Emergency Service units are working to eliminate the consequences.

        The alarm lasted seven hours in the Poltava region – from 21:16 on 20 June to 04:16 on 21 June. Initially, the military warned of the threat of drones heading towards the city. However, after midnight, the Russian army also launched missiles. In particular, the Russians launched hypersonic aeroballistic missiles ‘Kinzhal’.

        According to local media, about 50 powerful explosions occurred in Kremenchuk. Large clouds of smoke rose above the city.
