        Russian attack on Ukraine’s Kirovohrad region kills two, sparks 2,000-square-metre fire

        Russian forces attacked the Oleksandriia district of Ukraine’s Kirovohrad region on October 7. Two people were killed and three others were injured, while contact has been lost with one person.

        The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this.

        Contact has not yet been established with one person, and the search is continuing.

        An industrial facility was damaged at one of the locations, where a fire broke out over an area of about 2,000 square metres.

        Fires were also reported at two other locations.

        Emergency crews are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the Russian attack.
