Russian forces carried out a missile strike on Pryluky in Ukraine’s Chernihiv region on October 7, hitting a five-storey residential building. Fourteen people were killed and 50 others were injured.
The Chernihiv regional police reported this.
Updated at 1:45 p.m. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the death toll from the Russian attack on Pryluky has risen to 14, including four children.
Fifty people were injured, including seven children. Rescuers saved 15 people, including one child.
Rescuers are continuing to clear the destroyed structures. People are still being searched for under the rubble of the apartment building.
