During the night of December 24, Russian forces carried out strikes on one of the districts of Zaporizhzhia. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, who said that at least three enemy strikes hit the regional center and emergency services immediately began working.

According to him, a residential building was preliminarily damaged. It was later reported that two people — a man and a woman — were injured in the attack and are receiving all necessary assistance.
Police said that the enemy attacked Zaporizhzhia overnight with three FAB bombs equipped with UMPK, striking the city while people were sleeping. At present, two residents of an apartment building located near the impact site are known to have been injured. Several high-rise buildings, municipal and private vehicles, and an educational facility were damaged, and a garage cooperative was partially destroyed.

According to him, women aged 75 and 35, as well as a 46-year-old man, sought medical assistance. All those injured are receiving the necessary medical care.
The scale of the damage has also been уточнено. As a result of the enemy attack, at least 13 apartment buildings were damaged, with windows blown out and balconies and loggias destroyed. Municipal services are already working at the sites, and specialists from district administrations are inspecting the area to document all damage.
