According to the monitoring Telegram channel DeepState, Russian forces executed five Ukrainian servicemen captured west of Zelenyi Hai. The channel reports that the soldiers were taken prisoner in a tree line, forced to lie in a row, and, after an interrogation, were shot.
DeepState notes that Russia continues to disregard all norms of international humanitarian law and demonstrates the brutality of its actions against both civilians and military personnel.
The channel also states that the international community still struggles to fully comprehend the scale of violence committed by Russia, which has become one of the world’s most openly anti-human regimes.
