A Russian drone struck a residential building in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district on the morning of September 9. Five people are known to have been injured, including a pregnant woman.
The consequences of the attack were reported by the State Emergency Service and Kyiv police.
The UAV struck a 22-storey residential building at the level of the 12th floor. The strike caused structural damage on the 11th and 12th floors and sparked a fire on the 12th floor.
Emergency crews extinguished the fire, which covered an area of 80 square metres. Rescuers saved 23 people during the operation.
Five residents, including a civilian woman, required medical assistance.
