Two people were killed and at least five others were injured in a Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Before the attack, Fedorov warned of a threat of guided aerial bombs targeting Zaporizhzhia region and the regional center.
He later reported explosions in Zaporizhzhia region, and then directly in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
According to the regional governor, the smoke seen by residents of Zaporizhzhia was the result of the enemy attack.
Fedorov initially reported one injured person. Later, he clarified that, according to preliminary information, two people had been killed in the strike.
As of 5:56 p.m., two people were known to have been killed and at least five injured in the attack on Zaporizhzhia.
