Russia may carry out four large-scale combined attacks on Ukraine in September using various types of missiles and strike drones. Potential targets include warehouse and logistics infrastructure in western regions, as well as energy facilities.

According to the outlet’s sources, in addition to regular drone raids, Moscow is planning four major combined attacks in September involving the simultaneous use of missiles and strike UAVs.
After a series of strikes on warehouse and logistics infrastructure in Kyiv and the surrounding region, Russia may shift its focus to similar facilities in western Ukraine.
The sources also identify energy infrastructure as another possible target. In their assessment, Russia could begin mass strikes on Ukraine’s energy system as early as September-October, alongside attacks on warehouses.
In recent days, Russian forces have already targeted power-generation and grid infrastructure in several regions, including Odesa region. So far, however, these strikes have not developed into a separate large-scale campaign against the energy system.
RBC-Ukraine’s sources also report a change in Russia’s tactics against Kyiv. According to them, Russia is increasingly using new jet-powered Geran-4 and Geran-5 drones and could raise their share in attacks on the capital and the surrounding region to as much as 80%.
On September 4, Russian forces struck the SBU building in central Kyiv. The building was damaged in the attack, and there were also injuries.
