        Russia lost one more Su-35: Air Force reports downing of fighter jet

        On July 8, Ukrainian forces shot down a Russian Su-35 multirole fighter jet. The aircraft was destroyed in the eastern sector.

        This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

        According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of the morning of July 8, Russia’s total combat aircraft losses since February 24, 2022, were estimated at 436 units.

        Thus, the number of destroyed Russian aircraft now stands at 437 units.

        On July 8, 2026, a Russian Su-35 multirole fighter jet was shot down in the eastern sector.

        Also, according to the General Staff, Russia has lost 353 helicopters.
