Russian troops launched a massive attack on one of Ukraine’s thermal power plants.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy, without specifying which thermal power plant was attacked.
The ministry emphasized that the plant has no connection to military infrastructure and that the attack is yet another act of terror by the Russian Federation.
“Targeted attacks on civilian energy infrastructure are an attempt to intimidate Ukrainians and leave the country without light and heat,” the statement said.
In light of the damage, Ukrenergo again called on Ukrainians to use powerful electrical appliances mainly during the day — from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., when solar power plants are most efficient.
