On July 23, Russian forces dropped five guided aerial bombs on residential areas of Zaporizhzhia. The number of people affected by the attack has risen to 18.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
“At the end of the working day, the enemy dropped five guided aerial bombs on residential areas, knowing full well that civilians would be affected,” the regional governor wrote.
Reports that people might have been trapped under the rubble were not confirmed. At the same time, 18 people now require medical assistance.
Residential buildings and a private medical facility were damaged in the attack.
As a reminder, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia today, striking residential areas and an industrial zone. A high-rise residential building was hit, while a medical centre and cars parked nearby were damaged.
