Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has stated that Russia will cease hostilities only if Ukrainian troops retreat from their current positions. The Russian president also called some points of the US peace plan ridiculous.

Vladimir Putin made these remarks at a press conference on November 27.

“If Ukrainian troops retreat from the territories they currently occupy, then we will cease hostilities; if they do not retreat, we will achieve this by military means,” the dictator said.

Regarding the situation on the front lines, the Russian president is confident that the amount of territory captured by the Russian army and the pace of advancement are increasing.

“Some people are demanding that the war continue until the last Ukrainian dies — Russia is ready for that,” Putin said.

Regarding the US “peace plan,” Putin said that there were no draft peace agreements concerning Ukraine, but there was a set of issues for discussion.

“After the talks in Geneva between Ukraine and the US, they decided among themselves that all 28 points should be divided into four components. All of this was communicated to us, and in general, we agree that it can be used as the basis for future agreements,” he said.

According to Putin, “some of the points in the plan sound ridiculous at the moment.” The Russian president also said that Russia is ready to confirm that it has no intention of attacking Europe, and that “the risk of an attack is being talked about by fraudsters.”

The dictator also announced a visit by an American delegation to Moscow next week.
