The 1112th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From March 10 to March 11, 140 combat engagements were recorded at the front. The greatest activity of the invaders is observed in the Liman sector, where the Armed Forces stopped 22 attacks, and in the Pokrovsk sector, where the Defense Forces repelled 21 attacks by the occupiers.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy launched two missile and 113 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, used two missiles and dropped 168 UAVs. In addition, it carried out about six thousand attacks, including 186 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,930 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes in the vicinity of populated areas:
- Mala Vovcha, Kharkiv region;
- Leontovychi, Sukhyi Yar, Voskresenka, Shevchenko in Donetsk region;
- Novohorhiivka, Zaporizhzhia region;
- Novodarivka, Gulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region;
- Lviv, Kherson region.
Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman and Siversk directions
In the Kharkiv sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled four enemy attacks near Vovchansk.
Nine occupants’ attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector yesterday. Defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault near Lozova, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Bohuslavka.
In the Liman sector, the enemy attacked 22 times. He tried to advance near the settlements of Nove, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Kolodyazi, Zelena Dolyna, Zarichne, Yampolivka, Novolyubivka and Torske.
In the Siversky sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 12 enemy attacks yesterday. Occupants’ units are trying to advance in the areas of Bilohorivka, Fedorivka and Verkhnekamianske.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors
In the Kramatorsk sector, two firefights were registered in the areas of Chasovyi Yar and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near Dachne, Kurdyumivka, Krymske, Druzhba, Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 21 assault and offensive attacks in the vicinity of Valentynivka, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Kotlyarivka, Oleksiivka and Andriivka.
Novopavlivske, Huliaypillia, Kursk and other directions
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 19 enemy attacks near the towns of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Skudne, Burlatske and in the direction of Vesele.
In the Huliaipil sector, the invaders carried out seven attacks in the areas of Novosilka and Pryvilne.
In the Orikhivsk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled six enemy attacks in the areas of Novodanylivka, Pyatikhatky, Shcherbaky and Stepove.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to attack Ukrainian positions.
In the operational zone in the Kursk region, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 11 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. In addition, the enemy launched 41 air strikes using 61 guided bombs, and fired 272 artillery shells at Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 19 from multiple launch rocket systems.
There were no signs of enemy offensive groups forming in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
