On the night of 31 December, during a massive Russian attack on the Odesa region, a large fire broke out at the Nova Poshta sorting terminal. Shipments worth millions of hryvnias were destroyed.

According to the company, debris from a downed Russian UAV fell on the territory of the sorting terminal’s car park.
‘All employees were in shelters and were not injured,’ the company said.
A truck trailer carrying 110 parcels with a declared value of 2.3 million hryvnias caught fire. All shipments were destroyed.
‘Nova Poshta will compensate for the loss of shipments. We are already contacting customers regarding compensation,’ the statement said.
