On the night of October 10, Kyiv suffered a large-scale combined drone and missile attack. Residential buildings in several areas of the city were damaged, and there were casualties.
This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, and the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko.
Debris from downed Russian drones fell in several areas of the capital, including in the Podil district, in the courtyard of a residential building.
In the Pecherskyi district, a fire broke out on the 6th and 7th floors of a 17-story building. Apartments were damaged and people were evacuated. As of this morning, nine people are known to have been injured, and five have been hospitalized. During the cleanup, rescuers saved two dozen people and extinguished the fire.
In the Holosiivskyi district, the facades of two residential buildings and two cars were damaged. In the Desnianskyi district, debris from a downed aerial target fell on the territory of a polyclinic without catching fire.
Due to the shelling, power and water supply disruptions were reported in the capital, especially on the left bank. Air defense continued to operate throughout the night as the attacks continued in several waves.
Also, in the Brovarsky district of the Kyiv region, a fire broke out in a private house and a mini-market building after a drone attack.
