On the night of November 2, Russia struck a DTEK energy facility in Odesa region. Over 36,000 consumers were left without power.
This was reported by DTEK.
“8,000 families were reconnected using backup schemes. Another 36,300 are temporarily without power. Energy workers are already working hard to restore electricity as soon as possible,” the statement said.
According to the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the Russians launched another massive strike on the south of Odesa region at night using Shahed UAVs. The targets were again civilian and energy infrastructure facilities.
“Despite the active work of the air defense forces, there is damage: an energy facility, an administrative building, and individual households in the private sector have been affected,” wrote Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
No information about casualties or injuries has been received. The city headquarters is working on site to eliminate the consequences. Critical infrastructure is temporarily running on generators. Eleven resilience points have been set up to provide assistance to the population.
