The Russian Foreign Ministry has effectively rejected the idea of exchanging territories. This was announced at a briefing by the ministry’s representative Alexei Fadeev.
According to him, the territorial structure of the Russian Federation is enshrined in the constitution, and that “says it all.”
Commenting on the upcoming talks between the US and Russia in Alaska on August 15, Fadeev noted that the position of the Russian delegation will be determined “exclusively by national interests.”
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that the Ukrainian army would not leave Donbas, as this, in his opinion, would create the conditions for a new war and further aggression against other regions.
