The 1,253rd day of large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun. From July 29 to July 30, 156 combat clashes were recorded on the front line. In the Pokrovsk direction, 63 assaults were repelled, in the Lyman direction, the occupiers attacked 24 times, and in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, 22 Russian attacks were repelled.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the enemy launched three missile and 57 air strikes, used six missiles, and dropped 109 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 5,715 shellings, including 131 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,677 kamikaze drones to strike targets.
The aggressor carried out air strikes on the following populated areas:
- Bilohirya, Hryhorivka – Zaporizhzhia region;
- Lvove – Kherson region.
Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out seven air strikes over the past day, dropping 11 guided aerial bombs and firing 381 shots, 12 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems. Ukrainian defenders stopped 22 enemy assaults.
South Slobozhansky, Kupyansky, Lyman, and Siversky directions
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the aggressor attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders five times in the Vovchansk area and in the direction of Kolodyazne.
Yesterday, there were four attacks by invaders in the Kupiansk direction. Ukrainian defenders stopped the enemy’s assault in the direction of Pishchane, Kupiansk, and in the Golubivka area.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 24 times. They tried to break through Ukrainian defenses in the areas of the settlements of Novyi Mir, Kolodyazi, Karpivka, Dibrova, Torske, and in the direction of Serednie, Serebryanka, Shandryholove, and Yampil.
In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped seven attacks near Hryhorivka, Siversk, and Fedorivka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk directions
In the Kramatorsk direction, four clashes were recorded yesterday in the direction of Bila Hora and in the Novomarkove area.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out nine attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Oleksandro-Kalynove.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 63 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of the following settlements: Popiv Yar, Poltavka, Volodymyrivka, Novoekonomichne, Mykolaivka, Rodynske, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Muravka, Myrolyubivka, Horikove, Dachne, Nikanorivka, Novoukrainka.
Novopavlivka, Prydniprovsk, Orikhiv, and other directions
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy carried out 10 attacks yesterday in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrograd, Zelenyi Hai, Vilne Pole, Novokhatsk, Maliivka, Temyrivka, and Zelenyi Pole.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive operations in the Huliaipilske direction.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks in the area of the village of Plavni.
Over the past day, the enemy made six attempts to advance in the Dnipro direction.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive formations were detected.
