Russia has shifted to massive combined strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. On the night of September 30, energy facilities in Kyiv, Kyiv region and other parts of the country were attacked with missiles and drones.

According to him, since the summer there has effectively not been a single day without Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. At the same time, such a large-scale combined strike had not been recorded since the end of the previous heating season.
The overnight attack caused damage and destruction at energy facilities. Detailed information on the condition of the equipment and the timeframe for restoration is currently awaited.
Local authorities have been instructed to check the readiness of backup power systems for critical facilities in communities and to complete their installation and connection as quickly as possible.
In total, 11 regions of Ukraine have been under Russian attack since the evening of September 29.
In addition to energy facilities, Russian forces attacked residential buildings, social infrastructure, civilian enterprises and the railway.
At the time of the report, 14 people were known to have been injured in different regions of the country. Five people were killed, including a child.
The threat of renewed strikes remains in a number of regions. Emergency repair work and efforts to deal with the consequences of the attack are ongoing.
