On Saturday night, Russian UAVs raided Kyiv, causing fires in several districts of the city.
Damage was reported in the Sviatoshynskyi, Dniprovskyi, Solomianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the city.
The attack on the capital continues.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the attack caused a fire and partial destruction in apartments on the top two floors of a 16-storey residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the city. Rescuers evacuated the residents.
The fall of drone debris was also recorded in the Dniprovsky district. According to the Kyiv military administration, a balcony on one floor of a 9-storey residential building caught fire.
In the Solomianskyi district of the city, shrapnel smashed the windows of houses and cars.
In the morning of 2 November, fragments of a drone hit an office building in Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district, Vitali Klitschko said.
According to the mayor, one of the floors caught fire. Emergency services are working at the scene.
At least one victim is known to have been injured.
