        In Dnipro rescuers recover body of third victim from rubble after Russian strike

        The death toll from the Russian strike on Dnipro on April 23 has risen to three. Ten people are known to have been injured.

        This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.

        “Rescuers have just found the body of another person in a high-rise building devastated by the enemy strike. Thus, the Russians’ nighttime attack on Dnipro claimed the lives of three people,” the statement reads.

        The number of injured has risen to ten. Four have been hospitalized in moderate condition. Among them are two children—girls aged 9 and 14.

        As Dnipro Mayor Boris Filatov clarified, in a high-rise building in the city center, apartments from the ninth to the sixth floor in one of the building’s entrances have been completely destroyed.

        “Currently, water, gas, and electricity have been shut off in the building. As soon as the rescue workers give the go-ahead, we will begin a technical inspection,” Filatov wrote.

        In total, there is damage at four locations across the city. At least 13 buildings have been affected. The exhibition center of the Union of Artists of Ukraine and a musical instrument store have been damaged.
