Ukraine’s General Staff has released updated estimates of Russian combat losses from the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, through September 21, 2025.
According to the General Staff, the enemy’s total losses are approximately:
- Personnel – about 1,101,610 (+1,010)
- Tanks – 11,193 (+1)
- Armored fighting vehicles – 23,281 (+1)
- Artillery systems – 32,952 (+25)
- Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) – 1,492 (no change)
- Air defense systems – 1,218 (no change)
- Aircraft – 422 (no change)
- Helicopters – 341 (no change)
- Operational-tactical UAVs – 61,598 (+553)
- Cruise missiles – 3,747 (+29)
- Warships/boats – 28 (no change)
- Submarines – 1 (no change)
- Vehicles and fuel tanks – 62,245 (+77)
- Special equipment – 3,969 (+1)
The General Staff emphasized that the figures are preliminary and subject to clarification.
