Today marks the 1,252nd day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine. Over the past 24 hours, 172 combat engagements took place along the front line. Ukrainian forces repelled 57 enemy attacks in the Pokrovsk sector, 32 in the Lyman sector, and 17 in the Novopavlivka sector.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
From July 28 to 29, Russian forces launched 90 airstrikes and dropped 149 guided aerial bombs. In total, 5,922 attacks were recorded, including 61 from multiple launch rocket systems, and 3,859 kamikaze drones were used.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes on the following locations:
- Ternove, Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Markove, Svitle, Donetsk region;
- Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, Novoandriivka, Bilenke, Zaporizhzhia region;
- Lvivove, Kherson region.
Northern-Slobozhanske and Kursk directions
Ten combat clashes occurred in the Northern-Slobozhanske and Kursk sectors over the past day. The enemy carried out 14 airstrikes, dropped 28 guided bombs, and fired 308 times, including eight MLRS attacks.
Southern-Slobozhanske, Kupiansk, Lyman, and Siversk directions
In the Southern-Slobozhanske direction, the enemy launched seven assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk, Zelenyi, and Krasne Pershe.
In the Kupiansk sector, six enemy attacks were recorded in areas near Stepova Novoselivka, Kindrashivka, and Lozova.
In the Lyman sector, Russian forces carried out 32 assaults, attempting to break through Ukraine’s defenses near Novoiehorivka, Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Yampilivka, and toward Dronivka and Serebrianka.
In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled four attacks near Hryhorivka and in the direction of Vyiimka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk, and Pokrovsk directions
In the Kramatorsk sector, one enemy assault was recorded toward Predtechyne.
In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops launched 10 attacks near Diliivka, Toretsk, Oleksandro-Kalynove, and Rusyn Yar.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 57 enemy assaults near the settlements of Popiv Yar, Mayak, Novoeconomichne, Razine, Lysivka, Chunishyne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Orikhove, Zelenyi Kut, and Dachne.
Novopavlivka, Prydniprovske, Orikhiv, and other sectors
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy launched 17 attacks near Zelenyi Hai, Zelene Pole, Piddubne, Oleksandrohrad, Shevchenko, Voskresenka, and Temyrivka.
In the Orikhiv sector, occupying forces attempted one assault near Kamianske.
In the Prydniprovske sector, Ukrainian troops repelled five enemy attacks.
No combat was reported in the Huliaipole sector.
There are no signs of enemy offensive group formations in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
