        Fighting Continues on the Front Line: 69 Clashes Reported Today, Pokrovsk Sector Sees Most Intense Combat

        As of 4:00 p.m. on June 22, Ukrainian forces have recorded 69 combat engagements along the entire front line. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the fiercest fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk sector, where Russian forces attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses 20 times during the day, with five clashes still ongoing.

        Heavy fighting is also underway in the Toretsk area, where 10 enemy assaults were repelled—four of which are ongoing. In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces attacked the areas around Chasiv Yar and Bila Hora.

        In the Northern-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian troops repelled nine assaults, and another battle is still in progress. The enemy also carried out three airstrikes and over 150 artillery shellings, including six from multiple launch rocket systems.

        Ukrainian forces have successfully pushed back attacks across various sectors, including near Vovchansk, Kupiansk, Lyman, Toretsk, and several settlements in the Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions.

        The General Staff reports that Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to wear down the enemy both along the front lines and in their rear positions.
