The occupation administration of the Kherson region reported a new drone attack on bridges near Chongar and Henichesk, which are used to connect occupied Crimea with mainland Ukraine.

According to Vladimir Saldo, the Russian-installed head of the occupation administration, traffic toward Dzhankoi was suspended following the strikes.

At the same time, the bridge linking occupied Henichesk with the Arabat Spit remains operational, although traffic is being managed in a one-way alternating mode.

This is not the first attack on transport infrastructure used by Russian forces to supply their troops in Crimea and southern Ukraine. On June 11, occupation authorities reported strikes on four bridges leading to the peninsula.

Several days earlier, Ukrainian forces had twice attacked the road bridge near Chongar.

Following previous strikes, Russian forces began rerouting fuel, ammunition and other military cargo along alternative routes. However, according to available information, one of those routes also came under attack. Near Armyansk, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a convoy of about 50 trucks carrying fuel and ammunition. Part of the convoy was reportedly destroyed.
