The Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a special operation in the city of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, as a result of which Russians were blocked in the city. The entire northwestern outskirts of the settlement were cleared of the enemy.
This was reported by the monitoring Telegram channel DeepState.
“The difficult and lengthy operation continues, as there are still Russian enclaves in the central part of the city. There are already many images online confirming the successful actions of the Defense Forces, so we are publishing the information that is already safe to disclose,” the message says.
The operation began with the creation of a blockade and the cutting off of the enemy garrison in Kupiansk from the main forces. The Defense Forces occupied Radkivka and Kindrashevka, and also took Golubivka under fire control. After that, Mirny and the northwestern outskirts of Kupiansk itself were cleared.
Defense forces continue to detect and destroy invaders in the central part of Kupiansk.
