In the village of Zaremby-Warchoły, in the Ostrów County of the Masovian Voivodeship, Polish law enforcement officers discovered debris of an unidentified object resembling a drone. Military police and prosecutors are working at the scene.
According to RMF24, the report about the discovery came after 6 p.m., when a local resident noticed fragments of an unknown device in a field. The nearest buildings to the site are uninhabited.
The investigation is being conducted by the Military Police in cooperation with the local police. The area has been secured, and specialists are determining the object’s origin and whether it had a military purpose.
Polish media note that this is not the first incident in the past year in which debris, possibly from unmanned aerial vehicles, has been found in Poland following overnight attacks on Ukrainian territory.
