A 16-year-old boy was killed in a massive Russian drone attack on Chernihiv. At least four other people were injured.
This was reported by Chernihiv Regional Military Administration head Viacheslav Chaus.
According to him, Russian forces attacked the city overnight while people were asleep, with strikes recorded at multiple locations.
Rescuers found the boy’s body while clearing the rubble.
Significant damage was reported in the city, including a lyceum and private houses.
Strikes also hit a промышленный объект and a медицинский facility that was not operational and had been largely destroyed in 2022.
Fires at the strike sites have been extinguished, and all necessary services are working on the ground.
