China has called the involvement of North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine “Russia and the DPRK’s own business.”
This statement was made by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian, according to Russian media.
“As for the bilateral contacts and cooperation between the DPRK and Russia, we have repeatedly stated our position – this is their own business,” he said at a briefing, commenting on a journalist’s question about the ratification of the Russian-Korean agreement on ”comprehensive strategic partnership.”
Today, North Korea ratified the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement with Russia.
Among other things, the agreement between Russia and the DPRK reportedly provides for the establishment of a military alliance. The media wrote that the agreement contains a secret clause that allows the DPRK to send its soldiers to war against Ukraine.
