The death of an employee of the defence company Fire Point in his own home was reported on social media by the company’s co-owner and chief designer, Denis Shtillerman, after a Russian attack on the town of Vyshgorod in the Kyiv region.
The shelling took place on the night of Saturday to Sunday, 30 November. According to Denis Shtilerman, one of the company’s employees was killed in the strike, and his family members are in serious condition in hospital. The Russian side used Shahed-type drones with cluster munitions.
Fire Point specialises in the production of strike drones and Flamingo missiles. Earlier it was reported that a significant part of the targets hit on the territory of the Russian Federation are struck by drones from this manufacturer, and the FP-1 model accounts for 56% of the total number of effective strikes by Ukrainian long-range unmanned systems.
