Ukraine’s membership in the European Union is enshrined in a separate point of the list of security guarantees. This is one of the key points demanded by Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this following the meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing”.
“Among the security guarantees we see is membership in the European Union. For us, these are mandatory economic, political, and geopolitical security guarantees. In our approach, this is an important point, which has been made into a separate item,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
Earlier, the president named three main blocks as the basis for security guarantees for Ukraine: strengthening the army, international cooperation with partners, and sanctions pressure on Russia.
