Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff, where the protection of critical infrastructure and logistics was discussed. Among the key decisions were strengthening electronic warfare, increasing purchases of relevant systems, and reorganizing the work of mobile fire groups and air defense lines.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on Telegram.
The meeting analyzed the needs of Ukrzaliznytsia, networks of gas stations and designated critical enterprises that are particularly significant targets for Russian strikes.
“There are decisions for protection. In particular, we will significantly strengthen the electronic warfare component and increase the volume of procurement — the contracts have been confirmed. The work of designated mobile fire groups and air defense lines will also be reformatted,” Zelenskyy said.
The president also instructed the Ministry of Finance to provide additional resources for logistics needs. The Staff meeting discussed logistics security in border areas with EU countries and Moldova, as well as Ukrzaliznytsia’s capacity to repair rolling stock and the supply of equipment.
In addition, the government is preparing decisions on reserve logistics routes in frontline regions. According to Zelenskyy, algorithms for combining rail and bus routes have already been calculated.
Tasks for protecting designated critical infrastructure facilities were also updated, but the president said the details are not public.
