Russian presidential aide Nikolai Patrushev threatened Poland with the use of Russia’s “entire arsenal” in the event of a direct military conflict. According to him, under such a scenario, Polish statehood could allegedly “cease to exist” within two or three days.

Patrushev made the remarks in response to a statement by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski about Warsaw’s capabilities in the event of a Russian attack.
“If Poland enters into military action against Russia, our country will use the entire arsenal of forces and means at its disposal, and Polish statehood will cease to exist within two or three days,” Patrushev said.
He also accused Sikorski of misjudging Russia’s military capabilities and claimed that Russian forces in the war against Ukraine are not using their full potential.
At the same time, Patrushev repeated the Russian authorities’ claim that Moscow allegedly has no intention of waging war against European countries.
The statement came after reports about Sikorski’s remarks in Kyiv. Russian media claimed that the Polish minister had spoken about the possibility of a rapid Polish victory in the event of a Russian attack.
