President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that for Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko “there is only one path” — dismissal from office. He called on members of parliament to immediately support this decision.
Zelenskyy said in a Telegram post.
“This Prosecutor General has only one path: dismissal from office. That is exactly what I told him. Ukraine has seen all the reasons,” the president said.
Zelenskyy added that if Kravchenko considers this political pressure, he can call it that.
“I ask parliamentarians to support this dismissal without delay,” the president emphasized.
Meanwhile, David Arakhamia, the head of the “Servant of the People” parliamentary faction, said that the Verkhovna Rada will vote on Kravchenko’s dismissal from the position of Prosecutor General on September 15.

As reported by the Anti-Corruption Action Centre (AntAC), President Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially submitted a motion to the Verkhovna Rada on September 14 to dismiss Ruslan Kravchenko from the position of Prosecutor General.
AntAC noted that Kravchenko’s resignation became known last week, but the president’s official submission to parliament appeared only on September 14. The organization questioned why the document had not been submitted earlier.
Earlier, it was reported that Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced that he had signed a notice of suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos. According to Kravchenko, the NABU chief is suspected of forging official documents in order to obtain an especially large amount of unlawful benefit.
NABU and SAPO stated that NABU Director Semen Kryvonos had not officially been served with a notice of suspicion. The agencies also said that the statements by Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko currently have a “public, rather than procedural, nature.”
