Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed a strike on the Kamensky plant in Russia’s Rostov region, a defence industry facility involved in missile production. Ukrainian forces also struck a Pantsir-S2 air defence system and an S-400 Triumf command-and-staff vehicle, with the two air defence assets valued at approximately $70 million in total.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on November 1.

“Our long-range sanctions are reaching the Rostov region. The Kamensky plant, a Russian defence industry enterprise involved in missile production, has been hit,” Zelenskyy said.

He also confirmed strikes on two Russian air defence assets: a Pantsir-S2 anti-aircraft missile and gun system and a command-and-staff vehicle belonging to the S-400 Triumf system. The combined value of the damaged air defence assets is estimated at around $70 million.

“I thank the SBU personnel and other components of our Defence Forces for their precision! We are justly defending ourselves against Russian aggression and doing everything we can to reduce Russia’s ability to continue it,” the president said.
