        Zelenskyy appoints new permanent representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe: Tarasyuk replaced by Tochitsky

        President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Mykola Tochitsky as Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe.

        The corresponding Decree No. 603/2025 was signed on August 20, 2025.

        Previously, Decree No. 602/2025 dismissed Boris Tarasyuk from this position.

        From April to September 2024, Mykola Tochitsky worked as Deputy Head of the Office of the President, and later served as Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications.

        In July 2025, Tochitsky returned to the diplomatic service.
