President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss the development of defense cooperation and further pressure on Russia. The Ukrainian leader reported the details of the meeting in a public statement.

Zelenskyy thanked the people of the United Kingdom for their steadfast support of Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. During the talks, he presented Prime Minister Starmer with the Ukrainian-made interceptor drone OCTOPUS, which the UK will produce for further testing in Ukraine. The first batch of drones has already been approved for production.

“Strengthening the sanctions policy must push Russia toward genuine negotiations. The recent sanctions packages from our partners are very important,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
