President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine expects the United States to respond to the massive Russian shelling of Kherson, which damaged the city’s energy infrastructure.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference.
According to the head of state, the United States believes that the silence at sea and the energy truce are working. But in fact, Russian shelling today, 27 March, damaged energy infrastructure in Kherson.
‘If there were violations and attacks on Kherson, the railway station and the energy sector today, this cannot be left unanswered. Civilians have lost power in the city. I believe that the United States should respond,’ Zelenskyy said.
The President noted that Ukraine understands exactly what facilities were attacked and what was destroyed, so he instructed Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov to prepare the necessary evidence for the United States. Zelenskyy also stressed that after the transfer of this evidence, Ukraine expects a response from the United States, which had previously stated that it would respond to the violations.
