The United States has decided to provide Ukraine with 20 billion dollars – these are funds that are secured by frozen Russian assets.

This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during the evening address.

“Part of the G7 decision of 50 billion dollars for Ukraine – for our defense, for our sustainability. This is something that will really support us. And it’s important to implement it already this year. Thank you to the United States, thank you to the entire G7,” said Zelensky.

The President also spoke about the report of Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky – the front and the Kursk operation.

“Most of all attention – difficult areas in the Donetsk region. And also the needs of our warriors, our combat brigades in the promptness of supplies from partners. Promptness always means greater results. I want to recognize our warriors today: the 38th Independent Marine Brigade – this is the Pokrovsk direction – and the 79th Brigade of the DSV – this is the Kurakhiv direction,” Zelensky added.
