On the night of December 19, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a Russian Project 22460 Okhotnik patrol ship that was operating in the Caspian Sea, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported. Several Ukrainian drones hit the vessel near an oil and gas production platform, with the extent of the damage and the ship’s hull number still being clarified.

A drilling platform at the Filanovsky oil and gas field in the Caspian Sea, owned by Lukoil, was also hit. The platform provides oil and gas production and was involved in supporting the Russian armed forces; its further operational capability and the scale of damage are being уточнюються.

In addition, a RSP-6M2 radar system was recently struck near Krasnoselske in temporarily occupied Crimea. The system is used to control aircraft movements, including enabling precise landings in poor visibility conditions.
