In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian troops destroyed a Russian Ka-52 helicopter using an FPV drone. After making an emergency landing, the crew attempted to evacuate but was eliminated.
This was reported by the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi.
The Russian helicopter was struck by a fiber-optic FPV drone operated by pilots from the “Baltika” crew of the 1st Battalion “High-Altitude Predators” of the 59th Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces near the village of Nadiivka in Donetsk Oblast.
As a result of the strike, the helicopter made an emergency landing, after which its crew attempted to escape.
Pilots from the 1st Battalion of the 414th Separate Brigade “Madyar’s Birds” joined the operation and, using drones, completed the strike.
