Units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out strikes on a number of important Russian military targets on May 21 and during the night of May 22. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
According to the military, a Russian Osa surface-to-air missile system was hit in Donetsk.
Ukrainian forces also attacked enemy command and observation posts in Novopetrykivka in Donetsk region and Tyotkino in Russia’s Kursk region. In addition, a command post near Voskresenka in Dnipropetrovsk region and a Russian communications hub in Verkhniy Tokmak Druhyi in Zaporizhzhia region came under attack.
The General Staff said Ukrainian troops also struck Russian drone control points in Selydove, Malynivka and Vesele in Donetsk region.
In addition, Ukrainian forces hit an ammunition depot in Velyka Novosilka, a logistics warehouse in Donetsk, and another logistics storage facility in Rovenky in Luhansk region.
The Defense Forces also struck concentrations of Russian personnel near Selydove, Ukrainka and Pokrovsk in Donetsk region, Malynivka in Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Troebortnoye in Russia’s Bryansk region.
Ukrainian troops also hit Russian crossings over the Oskil and Bakhmutovka rivers near Holubivka in Kharkiv region and Siversk in Donetsk region.
