The Ukrainian artistic gymnastics team became world champions in the exercise with three balls and two hoops at the World Championships held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
This was reported by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian athletes received a score of 28.650 from the judges, beating the Brazilian team by just 0.100 points.
This victory marks the second in Ukraine’s history in group exercises at the World Championships, with the previous triumph occurring in 2002.
The gold medals were won by Yelyzaveta Azza, Diana Bayeva, Valeriya Peremeta, Kira Shyrykina, and Oleksandra Yushchak.
