Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 16 other settlements in the region, killing four people. Another 51 people were injured, including four children.
This was reported by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov.
Three people were killed in Kharkiv, while another 37 were injured. Among them were a 10-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl who suffered acute stress reactions.
In Lozova, a 71-year-old woman was killed. Seven women and a 9-year-old girl suffered acute stress reactions.
In the village of Chervona Poliana in the Barvinkove community, two women aged 54 and 60 and a 14-year-old boy suffered acute stress reactions. In the settlement of Vysokyi, a 49-year-old man was wounded, while a 71-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. In the village of Peremoha, a 38-year-old woman was also affected.
Kharkiv region hit with missiles, guided bombs and drones
In Kharkiv, the Kyivskyi, Kholodnohirskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts came under attack.
Over the past day, Russian forces used nine missiles, one guided aerial bomb, seven Geran-2 drones, five Molniya UAVs, three FPV drones and another 24 drones whose type is still being determined.
In Kharkiv, ten apartment buildings, 13 private houses, a sports complex, 11 vehicles, a civilian enterprise, railway infrastructure and a bank premises were damaged.
In the Kupiansk district, an administrative building, power lines and a residential house were damaged. In the Izium district, four houses, power grids and a shop were damaged.
In the Kharkiv district, residential and outbuildings, railway infrastructure and an administrative building were damaged. Destruction was also recorded in the Lozova and Chuhuiv districts.
Ukrainian forces repel 20 attacks in Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector
A total of 203 combat engagements were recorded on the front over the past day.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 20 Russian attacks. The enemy attempted to advance near Starytsia, Izbytske, Vovchanski Khutory and Zybyno, as well as toward Zakharivka, Varvarivka, Radkivka and Doroshivka.
Russian forces did not conduct assault operations in the Kupiansk sector.
Earlier, “Glavnoe in Ukraine” reported that Russian forces launched a massive attack on Kharkiv on the evening of October 12. In the Kholodnohirskyi district, an entrance section of a four-story residential building was destroyed, and by that time the bodies of three people had been found under the rubble while the search-and-rescue operation was continuing.
