On the night of 8 December, Russian troops launched a massive drone attack. According to the Ukrainian Air Force Command, the enemy launched a total of 74 attack UAVs, including Shahed and other types. The attacks were carried out from the areas of Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.
As of 08:30, the Ukrainian Defence Forces had shot down 28 enemy drones in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia regions.
At the same time, according to the Air Force, 46 drones were lost.
The falling wreckage of a downed Shahed in Kamianske, Dnipropetrovs’k region, damaged residential buildings and property of local residents. The victims are being provided with the necessary assistance.
