The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia will allocate an additional 200 thousand euros from the 2024 budget to support Ukraine.

These funds will be used to help the most vulnerable segments of the Ukrainian population, including women, children, and people with special needs. Part of the funding will also go to support the restoration of the country’s energy infrastructure.
“The situation near the front line remains extremely difficult and the humanitarian needs in Ukraine remain high. The impact of the war is having a serious impact on society, and it is important that Estonia, through international organizations, provides support to the most vulnerable groups,” said Tsakhkna.
According to the information, 100 thousand euros will be provided to the Humanitarian Fund of Ukraine under the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
Another 68 thousand euros will be transferred to the United Nations Population Fund to alleviate the humanitarian situation in Ukraine in 2025.
In addition, the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has allocated EUR 10 thousand to support the International Organization for Migration in 2025, and the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine will receive EUR 20 thousand to restore energy infrastructure.
