During the meeting in the Ramstein format and a series of bilateral talks, Ukraine presented its defense priorities to allies, including the development of defense tech, strengthening air defense, and launching new partnership projects. This was reported by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov as he summarized the results of negotiations with international partners.

According to him, he held a separate meeting with the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Alexus Grynkewich. The Ukrainian side emphasized that it is creating some of the cheapest and most effective solutions in the field of defense technologies and is ready to share this experience, while also needing partners’ assistance to counter ballistic threats. The parties discussed the PURL program as a key mechanism for supplying Ukraine with critically needed missiles.

During talks with UK Defense Secretary John Healey, the discussion focused on implementing the roadmap for cooperation within the framework of the century-long partnership, as well as the timelines and volumes for the delivery of Octopus interceptors.

With German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, the sides discussed contributions to strengthening drone assault units, the development of mid-strike capabilities, counter-UAV measures, and the possibility of replacing Mavic drones with Ukrainian solutions in cooperation with partners. Particular attention was also given to cooperation within the “Patriot for Ukraine” program.

Negotiations were also held with the defense ministers of Belgium, Latvia, Norway, Australia, and Canada. The key topic of all meetings was defense assistance to Ukraine, primarily strengthening air defense as a priority task defined by the president.

Among the promising areas of cooperation, the parties considered the search for inexpensive and effective solutions to counter Shahed-type attack drones, the supply of long-range artillery, the launch of joint production, and additional partner contributions to the PURL program. The minister thanked allies for their strong and consistent support for Ukraine.
