        Two people killed, 54 injured in Russian strike on Kharkiv

        Russian strikes on Kharkiv have injured 54 people, including eight children. Two more civilians were killed, the State Emergency Service reported.

        Fires broke out in the Slobodsky and Osnovyansky districts, damaging multi-storey buildings, the private sector, a civilian enterprise, public transport and children’s playgrounds.

        According to the mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov, the enemy struck with 17 Shahed-type attack drones.

        ‘Trolleybuses, the contact network, utility and industrial facilities were damaged. All these are ordinary objects of peaceful life. Those that should never be targeted,’ the mayor said.
