Two people were killed in a Russian missile strike on Kyiv on July 16. Five others, including a child, were injured.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this was already the sixth ballistic missile attack on the capital in July.
As of now, two people are known to have been killed in Kyiv and five injured, including a child. A high-rise residential building, warehouses and vehicles were damaged in the capital.
In total, Russia used 13 missiles, eight of them ballistic, as well as 151 drones during the overnight attack on Ukraine.
“Moscow is counting on ballistic missile terror and continues its strikes, and it is very important now to accelerate the delivery of interceptors for air defence,” Zelenskyy said.
The president stressed that all packages agreed with partners must arrive on time, as prompt deliveries make it possible to protect people’s lives.
